Tubajonon got the crown of Miss Bitoon 2008 -

This year the Surigaonon Heritage Center launches the Search for Miss Bitoon Nan Surigao 2008, the said search is done for some cause, the proceeds of the said event goes to the maintenance of the Museo Nan Surigao. The event was participated by the Division of Dinagat Islands, Surigao Norte National High School and Division of Surigao City. The candidate of our division, Miss Ronalyn Monte of Tubajon National High School won the crown for Miss Bitoon 2008 because of the financial and moral support of the Local Government Officials of Tubajon headed by the Honorable Mayor Ronald O. Luib, Sr and the DepEd Family of the Division of Dinagat Islands and to especial mention Mrs. Velia Luib who exerted effort just to bring the crown to our Municipality.The said competition was done through series of activities such as: canvassing, parade and coronation. The canvassing was done last February 16; the motorcade was done last February 25 where the candidates showed their hidden assets, in the coronation night last February 29, the candidates successfully captured the eyes and melted the hearts of everyone especially the Newly Crowned Miss Bitoon 2008.But the best thing that this competition brings is that it became the grandest stepping stone for our newly founded province of Dinagat Islands to total stardome.

First Angob Clan Grand Reunion -

Angob Clan Grand Reunion will be on April 25-28, 2008 at the Municipality of Tubajon. Registration is now going on.
All Family trees are required. Please submit it to Mrs. Evangeline "Bebie" Ladaga.
